Whether you do it to save money on toothpaste or to help the environment by throwing out that plastic tube a day or two later, you probably have your own way of trying to get that last bit of toothpaste out of the tube. The internet is full of crazy ideas that people have. The simplest (and safest) method is to place the tube in warm water for a few minutes. Next, lay the tube on the edge of the sink and use your toothbrush handle to push the warm toothpaste to the top of the tube. You can use a binder clip to keep your toothpaste pushed up to the top (see picture). This also creates a travel-size tube that’s easier to put in your carry-on bag!
